Introduction

Olympia Debate Society Ltd. is thrilled to invite qualifying institutions to participate in the upcoming International Debate and Public Speaking Trip. Following the exceptional performance of students, selected schools have been allocated dedicated slots to showcase their talents on an elite international stage:

• 12 Slots for Debater

• 15 Slots for Public Speakers

Immersive Dual-Track Format

The program uses a structured dual-track framework, allowing students to participate in both tracks at no extra cost:

1. World Schools Debate Format (WSDC): Features 6 Preliminary Rounds (3 with prepared motions) leading to a knockout bracket (Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and a Grand Finale with a prepared motion). Main speeches are 8 minutes; reply speeches are 4 minutes.

2. Public Speaking Component: Consists of 3 formatted rounds, including 2 strategically prepared topics.
